1. What time does it start?

The creepy mile starts at 7:20 p.m.

5k starts at 8:00 p.m.

10k starts at 8:20 p.m.

2. Can you walk the 5k? What about the 10k?

For sure come on out and walk the 5k course. The 10k course is reserved for runners and joggers only.

3. How much is it, I can't find it anywhere?

4. I don't have a headlamp, can I rent one?

Awesome headlamps will be available for rent.

5. Do I need a light to walk or race?

Absolutely, the trails are very dark in the woods, and for your own safety and the safety of others, you need a headlamp or a flashlight in order to be on the race course.

6. Can I bring my pet dog / cat / fish / iguana?

No, they may be good walkers, but leashes and runners don't mix, and pets should be left at home.

7. I have special food considerations or allergies what food do you have at the race?

We have pizza and candy after the race with some coffee and hot chocolate. If you have special food needs, then please make arrangements to bring your own.

8. I haven't done a trail race before, what is the race course like?

Although the race is touted as a "trail" race is really mostly on crushed gravel on well groomed paths. There is some uneven terrain and some bumps and roots on the course, but it is quite tame and maintained by the Town of Oakville. For pictures of the race course click here.
